I’ve had the privilege of being a full time photographer of life for over 30 years, trained at UCLA, specializing in people and our environment. My artistic expression is truly about my inner journey.  I have been discovering, learning and cultivating the ability to blend, through many medias, over the last number of years, which is now be woven through my photography. A coming together - the layering of ideas, and refining

those ideas are the elements I now include to capture images and stories which reflect multi-sensory richness.

 

My photography has been pretty diverse, including portraits of celebrities, corporate events, weddings and people with interesting stories to share, special features for People Magazine, Phoenix Magazine, The Plateau Journal of Northern Arizona, and  contributing photographer for Sedona Magazine for over 10 years.  Showcase photographer for the Los Angeles Arts Festival, Arizona Points of Pride and Sedona Film Festival.  I feel the diversity of photography which I embrace contributes a far richer tapestry to each celebration and story I create.

 Like a mosaic, each aspect of the creating I engage with gives a richness to my whole body of creation. The people, places and venues may change, yet it is the vibrant essence of life in any situation that helps me capture and create your story. My extensive body of work over the last 30 years has emphasized people and our natural world. Each opportunity to create is viewed as a new and unique experience, because each person, couple and family has a special personality, which needs to shine.  I share my wonderful attitude with you and I pride myself on providing exceptional quality images and customer services.  You are my people, who have given me the privilege of creating your stories, and I thank you.

From the moment I laid my eyes on a camera in my grandma’s desk at the age of 10, I loved photography, it was like a found treasure, and it is the treasure in others which I enjoy bringing out into full light. I continue to learn and evolve as an artist, because I think that’s one of the things I enjoy about photography – it’s always expanding and changing. Now with digital photography, the expansion is like being catapulted into another galaxy, where the possibilities are infinite. The world around us changes, but the basics are still there – the wonderful celebrations of life and the unique stories which can be captured to embrace your wondrous memories.


My love of photography and the story telling process continues to expand more now than when I began, and I’m not sure how that happened, but it has and that totally excites me!
